Doodling!

Few days back, met up with my boyfie's colleague which happen to be a graphic designer (how I wish I could be one). And the topic of me scribbling on my notes came up. "DOODLES" she said.

Well, according to her, Doodling mean when given any materials i.e. paper/tissue paper, with pencil in your hand...you'll just scribble away without even noticing it. DOODLING is the term! How cool is that?!?

Though Wikipedia is not a reliable source, but somehow it gives you a brief idea of what things are suppose to mean and if it's in term of people, you get to 'know' them better.

LOOK!!!
As defined in  Wikipedia , a Doodle is  "an unfocused drawing made while a person's attention is otherwise occupied. Doodles are simple drawings that can have concrete representational meaning or may just be abstract shapes. Stereotypical examples of doodling are found in school notebooks, often in the margins, drawn by students daydreaming (so me!) or losing interest during class (probably defines me the best!). Other common examples of doodling are produced during long telephone conversations if a pen and paper are available (completely true! Started even when I was a kid while I chat on the phone, especially with my granny. LOL! How disrespectful eh?!? Sorry gramps, it's unintentional.)
Z for Zebra
Popular kinds of doodles include cartoon versions of teachers or companions in a school, famous TV or comic characters, invented fictional beings, landscapes, geometric shapes and patterns, textures, banners with legends, and animations made by drawing a scene sequence in various pages of a book or notebook."
I haven't been doodling for quite some time because I'm on break, but there will be more to come as I just started classes about a week back.

Till then! Toodles!

.:Not All Scribbles:.

Hi peeps!

Sad to say, there aren't any scribbles today. Didn't get inspired throughout the day and just didn't felt like scribbling. *Good girl for a day*

Well, it's not all bad though, I did some scribbles some time back, so here you go.

Psssst...It's NOT ALL SCRIBBLES. It's inclusive of a Birthday Card too!

This was just some random design that I drew on a piece of paper.
It all started with pencil then it just grew to this colorful-random-sketches.

My Good Friend's B'day Card (Front)
*It's just S.I.M.P.L.E. lining on the words with some bees-inspired design.*

My Good Friend's B'day Card (Inner)
#Instead of the usual space where we write our best wishes to her, I created these little pockets.#
1. You've got privacy, nobody will be ready what you wrote.
2. Aren't they adorable?!?
I know there are a lot of better people that make better cards than me. This is just my hobby, making cards for people and scribbling around.

If you can't draw, you can scribble! Have Fun Scribblin' !!!

.:What I did in one hour tutorial class:.

The general rule when you go for classes is to 'listen to the lecturer', 'pay attention in class', 'take note of important points' and the list goes on.

But it usually very hard for me if I don't move my hand i.e. scribbling. In order for me to concentrate and not daydream in class, I'll do small scribbles in part of my notes, sometimes it makes it more interesting. Don't you think you?

When you're doing your revision, with all the little friend/fiends that you've drawn, isn't it more entertaining? Probably you'll giggle a little when you look at them.

So here are some of the little friend that I drew during an hour of accounting tutorial.

Oh My! It's raining already. We're STUCKED!

.:Little Something About Me:.

Have you ever have this feeling where your hand just wants to scribble?

Well, if you scribble on the table, it'll be called Vandalism; but if I scribble on my own paper, what is it called? To me, it's SKETCHES (I may even be using the wrong art terms!).

Probably it may not be significant at this point of time, but I find that all these sketches represents a person in many ways. It may not be the attitude of a person but what's on the person's mind. Maybe one day, when you look back at what you have drawn, you'll have a good laugh. Well, it all depends I suppose.

Facts about ME:-

I am not a professional artist;
I am not an art student; instead I'm an ACCOUNTING student. (wrong major)
I have no background in arts at all;
I don't really know how to use Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop (so don't worry that I'll edit my photos, cuz I won't)
I am VERY BAD at drawing human hands and feet.

DESPITE that...

I just L♥VE drawing. I L♥VE making cards. I L♥VE sketching.

Doing all these really adds color to my life and much more laughter too.

Just like to share my "SKETCHES" with everyone. Hope you will like it.

I'm willing to take comments so that I can improve on my "SKETCHES".

Till then peeps! Adios!
